Troutdale iCandy

Our Story

1891: Aaron Fox opens the original store, serving the newly platted city along the railroad.

1945: Roy Meger purchases the store, running it for decades as a community staple known for quality meats and general goods.

1995: Roy Meger closes the long-standing general store, and Dr. James Gurtisen buys the building to turn it into the Troutdale Vision Clinic.

General Store functioning as a lunch counter, candy shop, and souvenir destination (which later closed and transitioned into newer local eateries like a soda bar )

Sydney & James, while on a Sunday Drive, saw the building was for lease and knew it would be a prefect location for the 2nd iCandy location!
